Sundal or Guggullu Ingredients:1. Chick peas – 2 cups
2. Mustard seeds – ½ tsp
3. Urad dal – ½ tsp
4. Dry red chillies – 2
5. Curry leaves – few
6. Salt – to taste
7. Asafoetida – a pinch
8. Oil – 2 tsp
Preparation:Soak the chickpeas overnight in water.
Then wash with plenty of water and cook them until tender.
Then take a pan and heat with oil.
Add mustard seeds.
When they start to crackle add urad dal, curry leaves, salt, asafoetida and dry red chillies.
Sauté for few seconds.
Now add the cooked chickpeas and mix well.
Sauté for few more mins and remove from heat.
Now chickpeas sundal is ready.
