Fruit cake



Ingredients

2 Cups Plain flour(Maida)
2 Eggs-
2 tsps Baking powder
1 cup Sugar
Butter-50gms
2tbsp Milk
1 cup Fruit mix
5 drops Vanilla essence

Fruit cake Recipe Making Procedure

1.In a big bowl whisk the egg till it becomes fluffy and add the milk.
2.Mix the sugar to it till it dissolves.
3.Add the melted butter and the vanilla essence to it.Mix thoroughly.
4.Seive the flour along with the baking powder.
5.Now add the flour to the mixture in the bowl.Mix well to make a fine batter.
6.Preheat the oven to 180 deg.
7.Grease the cake tin, pour in the batter and finally sprinkle it with fruit mix.
8.Bake it for 30-40 mins.
9.Let the cake cool.Slice it to small pieces.
It is great for kids lunch boxes or as an evening treat.
Tip-You can either grease the cake tin or use a baking paper.try to cut the baking paper similar to the bottom of the cake tin and place it at the bottom of the tin,while the edges can be greased.
