Kadai paneer


Kadai paneer ingredients:

1. Paneer (cottage cheese) - 250g
2. Onion - 3 (blanch for 10 mins and puree)
3. Tomato - 3 (blanch, de-skin and puree)
4. Ginger garlic paste - 11/2 tsp
5. Chilli powder - 1 tsp
6. Coriander powder - 1 tsp
7. Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
8. Garam masala powder - 1 tsp
9. Bay leaf - 2
10. Cloves - 3
11. Cinnamon - 1" stick
12. Coriander leaves - for garnishing
13. Ghee - 2 tbsp
14. Salt - to taste

Kadhai paneer preparation:

Take a pan and add heat with 1 tbsp of ghee.

cubed and sauté the paneer pieces in ghee till golden brown.

Remove from ghee and add the fried paneer cubes in a cup of hot water for 3-5 mins.

Then drain the water and keep aside.

Add the remaining ghee in the same pan and heat.

Add bay leaf, cloves and cinnamon and saute for a min.

Then add onion paste and saute till they turn into golden brown colour.

Then add ginger garlic paste and saute till the raw smell disappears.

Then add tomato puree and saute for 3-5 mins.

Add chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, salt and saute for few seconds.

Then add fried paneer pieces and mix well.

Then add a cup of water and cook on low flame for 10 mts or till you get the desired curry consistency.

Adjust salt, remove from heat and allow it to sit for 10 mins before serving.

Finally garnish with coriander leaves.

Now your easy and tasty kadai paneer is ready to serve.
