Banana bread



Ingredients

1 1/4 CUP WHITE SUGAR
1 1/2 CUP SOFTENED BUTTER
2 LARGE EGGES
1 1/2 CUP MASHED RIPE BANANAS (3 - 4 MEDIUM SIZED BANANAS)
1 CUP BUTTER MILK ( OR 1 TABLESPOON LEMON JUICE TO 1 CUP MILK ,LET STAND 5 MINUTES)
1 TEASPOON VANILLA
2 1/2 CUPS ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
1 TEASPOON BAKING SODA

Banana Bread Recipe Making Procedure

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.

Grease bottoms only of 2 loaf pans with shortening.

Mix sugar and butter in large bowl.

Stir in eggs until blended.

Add bananas,buttermilk,and vanilla.

Stir in flour,baking soda.

Mix well.Fill each pan halfway.

Bake about 1 hour to 1 1/4 hours or until toothpick when i

inserted in centre comes out clean.

Cool 5 min.

Loosen sides from pan then remove.

Store at room temperature up to 10 days.
